5 day course

1st day arrival

Arrive after 4.00pm on start date of course.
Settling in with tea and cakes; introduction
Maggie to discuss the painting programme, materials and location
7.00pm 2 course evening meal

2nd day (Tuition)

Full breakfast or lighter alternative
Early start : using sketch books drawing techniques, painting demonstrations, depending on media (preparation of canvas and boards if oil painting)
Lunch at location
Travel to location to sketch, back to studio via a gallery
Translating sketchbook work onto a painting with feeling!
4.00pm - tea/coffee and cakes
4.30pm -own time.
7.00pm 2 course evening meal

3rd day (Tuition)

Full breakfast or lighter alternative
Early start ; demonstration at location, using view finders and composition
Paint en-plein-air at the coast, either Solva, Fishguard or Strumble Head until lunch
Lunch at location
back to studio. 4.00pm - Tea and cakes ack to studio,
4.30pm own time
7.00pm 2 course evening meal

4th day (Tuition)

Full breakfast or lighter alternative
Early start ; demonstration at location, either foothills of the Preselis or Ty-canol Oak Woods
sketch and paint on site
lunch at location and back to studio
4.00pm tea/coffee and cake
4.30pm own time

7.00pm 2 course evening meal

5th day (Tuition)

Full breakfast or lighter alternative
Early start ; demonstration at location, St Davids Coastal or Cathedral
lunch at location.Own time to continue painting or view Cathedral and galleries in St Davids. Back to studio,                                                        4.00pm Tea and cakes                                                                                  4.30pm Own time. , time to reflect
7.00pm 2 course evening meal

6th day
